Buy Moving Supplies

Like everyone else I'm hanging with my money and I need to buy supplies moving. I just need the key to get me started on my packing to move.

You can get boxes Freecycle or Craigslist for liquor stores at low prices or free, and grocery stores so often you have the boxes for free. And instead of bubble wrap to protect your fragile items, try plastic bags to the grocery store. It's a trick I found more at Scott Common Sense Community!

When traveling do not put your clothes. Keep them on the racks. Loop an old pair of pantyhose across all media and a tie to keep the clothes together. When you arrive at your home lines on the stem, cut the pantyhose and you're done.

1. Let people you know at work you're moving, I think people were happy to provide boxes.

2. Ask the grocery store or maybe the local shop for a couple of boxes.

3. I used my luggage to pack my bags and garbage closet/clothes- may contain wonders pillow, bedding, towels!

4. If you need, you can leave your clothes in drawers to move, just take them out of the chest, moving the dresser and put them in the cupboard once the truck. This would still leave open the idea luggage then.

I found that Home Depot boxes are pretty cheap. The average large and small boxes are available. They are 0.67, 0.97 and 1.27 (respectively) here in the SF Bay. It is much cheaper than buying boxes U-Haul/Public .. storage etc.

Bubble wrap is expensive but if you want to check Walmart or Target.

I agree with the poster above for clothes, use a large trash bag or leave them in drawers.

Any local grocery store will have tons of boxes available. The best boxes are boxes of apples, but boxes of bananas are working very well also.

banana boxes in grocery stores are awesome, great with a lid to stacking is a breeze if you have time to wait and earn them until they are the best
