What a good rate of pay a real estate agent or a realtor to sell a property in Cape Coral Florida.? I know that if two of the agency or broker involved that should the Commission is divided between them. Half goes to the selling agent and the other half Giong the agent of the buyer. Know that I was told that nobody should ever have to pay more than 10,000 in total for the brokerage. which is then shared between the two agents. This does not include other costs such as title company ECT. I'm just interested in the part of broker fees. They usually charge a percent of sales from 6% to 8% - but I wish it were more than 10,000 max. Should sell between 100,000 to 180,000 - so if the broker's fees ie 8% for sales brokerage fees would 8000-14400 which of course as many what some realtors say is too high, d a tax to pay everyone. Normally in terms of its overall value 2% of the market they arrive.
You can pay a real estate agent you have something to negotiate. To keep your costs to the Commission under 10k, do not exceed 5% commission total. Also, have buyer pays all closing costs so you do not have to worry about title insurance and other closing costs.
Because home prices in Southern California are so high, I have instructed my officials to offer 3% commission on the total list.
