How do I renew the lease for a condo? " Hi all,
How are you?
I have a small question concerning the re-Newing lease for a condo. I have a tenancy agreement with the owner of my apartment for a year, and time is running out.
For people who have renewed their lease with the owner of a condo, I need to prepare the same documents (payslips ie, employment letter, credit check) I did when I signed the agreement, or it will be easier this time, since I'm basically renew the lease? Could someone please let me know what I need to prepare when a new Newing?
Please let me know.
Thank you!
Cheers!
That's what I used in the past ......
"This lease is renewed for an additional _____ (month / year) under the same terms and conditions as the original lease, dated ___________ by and between _________________ (owner) and ______________ (Tenant)."
It should be much easier ....
Just call your landlord and tell him you want to stay another year.
In some states you may have to give notice of 60 days or 30 for the renewal of a lease. Your landlord must notify you. You can verify your lease and see what he says before going to speak with your landlord.
