Disney Timeshare Resales

Disney Timeshare ResalesShould I join the Disney Vacation Club?

My husband and I used to go to Disney every summer. We have often tried to look into buying a timeshare Disney, but I find that even Disney CD and booklet does not provide clear information about it. I do not know if it financially worthwhile, given the different fees. Can anyone share their personal experiences with the DVC? Is it money? Or is it a huge financial drain? Also, if I do buy, should I buy a resale or purchase by Disney?

If you think you can get more time sharing in a motel or hotel rooms over, then this may be a good option for you. Once you pay for the timeshare, you can stay during your free week every year. An annual maintenance fee is charged to pay for the upkeep of the property. If you stay in upscale accommodations, the costs will be considerably less than hotel costs. If you stay in the low-end establishments, then the fee will be more of your vacation cost without the timeshare.

You really need to purchase the optional Travel Club to make maximum use of your timeshare unless you are planning a vacation to the same place for 20 or so years. Do not buy a timeshare if you have not purchased a home or property to build on for retirement. You need to take care of permanent residence before committing to tens of thousands of dollars for a timeshare good.

Buy a timeshare when you are sure the annual fees and payments will not sink your boat finance. The argument here is that, even if these are only the height of your holiday costs, we must pay, but you do not take vacations is the size of the money is tight. In fact, if you can not pay cash or pay the property within a couple of years, do not buy it. The risk for the purchase of an option to purchase is too large.

Thank you to everyone who responded! You have all given information very well and I find it very useful. Flag

I found the points "confusion - as 800 years for the upkeep was too expensive ---- u can get one in the region for less ---- But whatever u choose is a tax write off --- Talk to your accountant ~ ~

If you have substantial income, it may be something that you can incorporate into your budget -
but it is a profit for Disney.

It is more profitable to find the great deals that are available - they are available to keep people coming for the lower traffic periods of the year.
