The festival is held on the historic main street and covers about 9 blocks from the street and features about 150 vendors participating. Activities start at 10am and continue until 22 hours, with breakfast daily, musical entertainment, children's activities, arts and craft fair, special exhibits, youth activities, sports tournaments , delicious food and the Great King Apple Parade. The place is the place to be for all the family members except fur, animals are not allowed in the area of the event.

If you look at the list of events, you'll realize that there is much more than apples show. The King Apple Parade is held on Labor Day and features youth groups, floats, bands, fire trucks, etc. The festival has an attendance estimated at 60,000 visitors to eat four days, residents and tourists at a time. The parade officially ends the festival on Main Street.
