Home Staging Edmonton

Home Staging EdmontonWhere to look for certain work in Edmonton?

I am a student looking for a summer or full-time job at night in Edmonton. I had a great variety of works in cash management (past, waitress, shipping / receiving, office work, accounts payable) and I did not enjoy it all. I hate Commission jobs and call centers because I do not bother people. My background is in illustration, I want to contribute what I know best (ie BD Shops, art, outdoor painting, theater). I have no problem with the manual work, so I'm happy doing what I do. A family friend said there are tons of work available in the theater (stagehands, helping with sets) if I get it. But all I can find is volunteer work and I can not afford to do right now.

All I want to do is to contribute to something that I can be proud, but I have no idea where else to look! Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

NOTE: Please do not reply to occupy jobs at home or online job. Too many people use the responses as an excuse to spam with a ton of links. I will report this as abuse.

As a student, you should take what you can find. In this economy, you can not be too picky about the work you do.

What are you studying at university? If you can not find gainful employment in the arts, try to find one in your line of future work.

Other than McDonalds, there is no such thing as "some work", especially in this economy. Each of the licensees of their opportunity.
