A controversial battle daily and illegal immigration has spread from the furniture store Pruitt in east Phoenix to a day-labor hiring site on northeast Phoenix.

Since Saturday, about a dozen members of anti-illegal immigration groups have been staging demonstrations outside the Centre macehuales work on 25th Street near Bell Road in retaliation for weekly demonstrations at Pruitt's Home Furnishings. The work center is headed by Salvador Reza, who for the last two months has organized weekly protests across from Pruitt on Thomas Road near 35th Street. Reza is trying to pressure the furniture store to use off-duty sheriff's deputies to drive day laborers in the region. He said his group met Monday and decided to continue the weekly protests at Pruitt on Saturday indefinitely until the owners pull the sheriff's deputies. Store owners Roger and Michael Sensing could not be reached for comment.

I hope the legal citizens come in numbers to support this endeavor, even if they do not need to make a purchase. Add insult to injury by illegal immigrants on foot and do not hire them and take pictures and those who take their license plates and return to it now!

Anything that can be done to make illegal invaders realize they are not wanted me. Keep the pressure on and make them uncomfortable enough to leave.
