Homes For Rent In Kansas City In metropolitan Kansas City, is it better to rent or buy a house now? We plan to move to Kansas City, and we hope to live on the Kansas side, preferably in Prairie Village or channel, or somewhere nearby. We need four bedrooms and two baths, and are the hope of a good size yard. I looked at the available rentals and homes for sale, but wonder if there are people in the region who would be willing to give your opinion on whether to buy or rent ... Thank you ahead! District of Kansas did not take the blow on the houses, like many regions. In some areas, homes lost some value (in the KC metro area) But in my opinion not more than 3%. We have forecloserers but what I saw the reason is that people bought more house they could afford and took out a rate of v-arm instead of a house they could allow a fixed are those who lose their homes on the most part. And the reason why they can not get new financing because they lagged behind on payments and now no one touches them. If you need help locating a home, you can send me a message and I'd be happy to assist you. Good luck in your move and Kansas City. I was once in your situation. Do not worry, everything will work out for you =) Posted on June 7, 2010.
