Hot Melt Tape

I recently ordered a regular packing tape and they sent me hot melt tape by accident. I called and they said keep the tape and sent me regular. Is this band melt require any special equipment? Can it be used in the same manner as the regular packing tape?

It was cheaper for them to tell you to keep the band harm than pay to have it returned to them, hehehe.

To use Wi-melt, you need a heat source. There are guns packaged specifically for this, but too expensive to buy for a single misdirected tape. An iron might work, if you want to take the trouble to actually try to use the hot melt adhesive tape.
