Houses For Sale In New Orleans

Houses For Sale In New OrleansMy lease void if the house I'm renting in New Orleans, Louisiana, sells?

I recently signed a lease for 12 months in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is located in the Parish of Orleans. After moving in, I learned that the house is for sale. If the house sells, my lease is invalid? Is there a way out of the lease if the house sells?

If the new owner wants to keep you they can.
Or the seller can not ask them to keep.

All contractual obligations attached to a property are transferable to the buyer. In other words, the new owner is buying the lease with you. By mutual agreement, the two of you can agree to terminate the lease, but it can not be unilaterally terminated by either side, you or them.
