The United States and Canada have an abundance of natural resources, including lakes, rivers and mountains. Although many natural resources are used economically, some regions of both countries have been designated as national parks. These parks protect wildlife and natural resources of a large area while providing a place for people to relax and enjoy recreational activities.

Select a national park in the list below:
aec Banff National Park (Alberta, Canada)
aec Wapusk National Park (Manitoba, Canada)
aec Prince Edward Island National Park (Prince Edward Island, Canada)
aec Kluane National Park (Yukon, Canada)
aec Quttinirpaaq National Park (Nunavut, Canada)
aec Redwood National and State Park (Del Norte and Humboldt Counties, California)
aec City of Rocks National Reserve (Almo, Idaho)
aec Doors of the National Park and the Arctic (Bettles, Alaska)
aec Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (Hilo, Hawaii),
aec Dry Tortugas National Park (Key West, Florida)
Search your selected national park. Be sure to note the following information:
aec the physical characteristics and remarkable landmarks
aec Wildlife in National Park
aec Vegetation
aec tourist facilities
For starters, you can visit one of these websites to find your national park
aec The National Parks of Canada
aec National Park Service
Remember to consult as many resources as possible about your national park.
After completing your research, design a brochure Trip to encourage families to visit your national park. Your travel brochure should include:
aec a cover page with a photo or drawing representing the National Park
aec written information on physical characteristics, wildlife and vegetation in the national park
aec information on outstanding items and "must see" things in the national park
aec information on tourist facilities, including hours of operations and programs

Your travel brochure will be graded on the following criteria:
aec a cover page that clearly states the National Park
aec detailed, interesting and complete is provided for your national park
aec all written requirements can be found in the brochure
aec brochure is made with great care, including images that represent strongly the park and the writing that is free of spelling and grammar errors

Thank you very much!

First, choose a park. I chose Banff National Park to make the assignment. (I go to Connections Academy too) For me, this assignment is as a sale of art. Oh, and read it all. I know that sounds a lot, but it helps!

Google some pictures of the park that you like, then go to Microsoft Word and put there as an art assignment. But to have an image that is a good image of the park. Make sure you have the name of it! Put the word on this art - look good. Make sure you have a bunch of photos. 5-8 is good, but you can add more if you want. Shrink them, blow them up big, rotate. However you like it. Make sure it looks like a good booklet.

Once you do that, Google made this park that you have chosen.

* A cover page with a photo or drawing representing the National Park
written information on physical characteristics, vegetation and wildlife in national park

* I.
