Kauai Condos

I'm planning a trip to Kauai in April with my two daughters and two years old granddaughter. Would get accommodation at the lower end. Suggestions? Which side of the island is the least expensive for this time of year? Did not need to be ocean view. Or near the beach. Nothing too isolated.

You're lucky I love Hawaii, it is soooooo beautiful! There are few hotels in the beach, which are affordable. You may want to also look into renting a condo or a house for the week, at times it may be cheaper. December, January are the peak season, so it's a little more (money wise) .. but the weather is still beautiful.

Try the Garden Island Inn, it is in the era of Kalapaki Bay in Lihue .. Nice, clean and inexpensive.

My wife and I were in Kauai last November and stayed in a condo in Poipu Beach Villas Waikomo called Stream Estates organized by Grantham. You can search and contact. Only a short walk from the beach. They have a number of condos and homes for rent. If you search online you will find a number of homes to suit your budget. Good luck. Mr. CH
