Month To Month Residential Lease

My 12 month lease states that the lease may be terminated by either party with 30 days written notice.
So where am I if the owner wanted us to leave within 30 days before 12 months are up and we do not want to go?

You would be standing outside in 30 days ... your lucky if you actually need to brake the lease you could ... Some leases require that you must pay for the term, even if you move out .. so your to enjoy as much as him.

I see you're out of luck if you described what was written in the lease that you signed. You should have tried to negotiate on the lease before signing.

The process of signing a lease is a lease for matain specified time ... I do not think u can give 30 days notice of termination of the lease b4 ~! I doubt a lawyer ~! If u are in the 11 months of rent heart so they can give u 30 days ~!

Are you sure the notice provision of 30 days is not intended to be after the end of the period of 12 months? Usually the leases are written so they create a tenancy from month to month, when the initial period of the lease expires. And they usually have a provision in the lease every month, either party may terminate it with 30 days notice.

I do not think he can not ask you to leave until at least 30 days before the end of the lease. If you do not go to the requested date, you may be deported (which remains on your file and it will be tough for you to find another apartment).
