Moving Company Costs

I am considering hiring a moving company to move my things, but have no idea how much it costs. I moved less than 5 miles from where I live now and do not need to spend too much. I need to have items moved my bed, dresser, night table, TV, computer desk, coffee table and other things like clothes, etc. If it myself I could combine everything into one UHAUL small, and yet the place. Any idea how much it cost?

Moving Company - 3 hours at $ 100 per hour
UHAUL - $ 150 + $ 19.95 deposit + cost of gas Intown $ 20

Using professional movers can cost a little more than doing it yourself, but worth it. We've been very lucky with Mayflower moving.

If you do not do it yourself, look in the phone book under moving companies. many areas have a company called Two Men and a truck who do this type.
