Commercial Real Estate in New York? Can I have a very secure life (tax) is a commercial real estate broker in New York?
Currently:
- Funding your studies at the University of South Florida
- Licensing of work on a Sales Associate
It's kind of a tough question to answer.
If you are a broker of success, then yes of course. There is great potential for making money, especially in an area of great value as NYC. There are also plenty of competition.
However, real estate is cyclical. If people are not buying / selling real estate you can not make money as a broker. If you mean by security income consistently high, perhaps not so much. You may have years that are very popular, but some are not.
A close friend of mine is in the business (and not in New York) and it is a difficult time for the industry in many areas because of the situation and ready the property values decline. It seems that this is a matter of time before things pick up well.
