I went to a bridge tournament in Nijmegen, but it was too far, really.
This is ambitious, Do you think it is going too far?
I did not myself these events, but on my cadet squadron they have done or are done soon! It Cosford (50 miles, 2 days), Nijmegen (100 miles, 4 days) and the Belgian Death March (100km, 24 hours). I know that the RAF has a combination of the RAF Warma (walking path Marching Association) and the VTA is involved in these events. I hope this is useful!

The experience is difficult and physically demanding and I suggest you do with a team.
Prepare, taking walks on flat ground construction up to 30 miles per day.
Make sure that, in view of the same that you are well hydrated and nourished.
Make sure you invest in some decent trainers (do not do it in hiking boots, trainers are best)

Do not be stupid enough to drink alcohol on the road. It is a stupid plan and just make sure you end up in hospital! One of my friends did and was taken to hospital with severe dehydration.
Finding a decent place to stay, most sports centers in the area cater for walkers and you can stay there on a cot.
In the evening, a swimming pool. I found that just doing a little lenghths losened my muscles and soothe sore joints.
