Plant Relocation How do you feel about the U.S. auto makers are investing billions in China to build factories to produce automobiles ago Chrysler, General Motors and Ford have all made billions of dollars to build factories to produce cars in China than our American auto workers losing jobs to Mexico and now China. I'm from the Motor City, and let me tell you, it's pretty funny to have Toyota's move to Michigan, and American car companies out! I have a question of survival of the UAW almost drove them out of business in America, even before aid "from OSHA, EPA, Ralph Nader, and all you" Americans "who prefer buy a car built in one of the countries that tried to destroy us. I do not even care I could not agree with you. As a Canadian, we were very concerned about Canada - U.S. Free Trade Agreement in 1988, but it hardly makes the news in the United States. We were afraid of losing good-paying jobs in the United States, and that's exactly what happened, particularly in the manufacturing sector. You guys didn't annoyed til the North American Free Trade Agreement with the United States, Canada and Mexico. Is typical. However, we have Honda and Toyota plants here in Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan. These are the two highest rated vehicles on the road. Ford, Chrysler and GM getting generally among the lowest ratings. So that just goes to show you that the U.S. automakers do not make a very good car all know America is still great. Outsourcing is horrible, do not misunderstand. I think it would be a blessing if American cars were made in America, but as long as companies are trying to save money, outsourcing is the norm. Posted on July 8, 2010.
