Rental Receipt Format

My roommates give me a total of $ 500 (350 for monthly rental and 150 for part of the deposit) and requested a receipt. If I have to prepare a receipt in my hand, what are the criteria / format I need to take note. I know there are sales receipt books out there but I want to do it myself You economically.Thank.

In Word, you can open a new document and use a reporting form detailing the amounts of money. You can use Excel and do the same thing. Or if you do not know quite something use the format like this:

Received: _______________________Date: ______

Amount Due: ___________________________________

To: ________________________________________ ...

____________ _______________ Signature Date

Signing date ____________ ________________

People do not received rent ... you and your roommate should have a lease signed by you.

Since you are using a computer, you must have Microsoft Word or a similar program available.
Programs like Microsoft Word have templates for receipts, invoices, etc.
Use one of them.
