Texas Lease Laws

Texas Lease LawsI need some info on Texas lease laws ...?

My sister-in-law lived her boyfriend and three children. They moved into a house and rent it has signed as co-applicant on the lease. Long story short the situation wrong and it became a physical threat to her and her children if she moved. He has been harassed on the money and hire every day, through text messages and voice messages for the past two months. He threatens that he can take it to court and they can garnish his wages because of it. Can he do that? She can not afford a lawyer but he put his life and lives of children in danger and that is why she moved. It phsyco!

He can not legally do, so he made threats, the owner would be the only one who could enforce the lease and as long as he lives there and they pay a rental. your sister-in-law should contact the local police and file a complaint, after having done so she could obtain a restraining order preventing contact and uttering threats. ~
