I've been overweight since my teens. Over the years I have been through every diet, including about Weight Watchers, calorie counting, carbohydrate counting, Atkins. I've also been on diet pills that made me stronger nervous and a bit crazy. No matter what I did, I would first like to lose weight, but few books ever return.

I started researching bariatric surgery in August 2006 and fortunately came across a website boring Healthcare Consultants for surgery of Lapland. I had a conversation with them about my concerns, and they have also supported my decision to turn the tape on the gastric bypass.

This has been a major concern for me since I had heard stories of other doctors are trying to convince patients to go for gastric bypass. I flew to India where I quickly completed my pre-op testing (nutrition consult and psych evaluation) and was scheduled for surgery. Surgery went well and I have not experienced complications. Through all the ups and downs, both emotional (as I adapted to my new eating habits) and physics, deciding to have Lap Band surgery was the best decision I could never myself made.

Thank you to hole health and my decision to have Lap Band surgery, I finally look forward to shopping, swimming, doing things with my family and just enjoy life.
